El P. Lorenzo Lucero Terrazas, nació en Casas Grandes, Chih. En Ciudad Juárez, Chih. y en su pueblo natal estudió la primaria; para pasar luego al seminario Conciliar de la Diócesis de Chihuahua, y es en Montezuma, N.M. donde termina su preparación para ser ordenado en la Parroquia del Sagrado Corazón de Ciudad Juárez. Fue profesor en el seminario de Chihuahua y vicario parroquial de Mons. Baudelio Pelayo en la entonces Parroquia de Guadalupe, Párroco fundador de la Ascensión, Chih., y segundo párroco de Cristo Rey.
De allí por nueve años rector del seminario donde fundó y dirigió por trece años el periódico "Renovación". Después de la operación del corazón a la que se sometió en El Paso, Texas, va de vicario a la Parroquia urbana de San José para ser destinado, después de una breve permanencia en San Francisco Xavier, a la Parroquia de San Elizario, Tx. donde lleva ya cinco años. Después de su operación publicó cuatro folletos de poesías: "Escucha Dios o La Oración de los Poetas". Poesías de los quinientos años de Evangelización, Homenaje a la Santísima Virgen de Guadalupe y Poesías Navideñas. También fia grabado ocho cassettes de Poesías con los mismos títulos de los folletos y además "Homenaje a las Madres" A los niños, Día de Muertos, y poesías para Meditar. Ahora ofrecemos con mucho gusto este primer titulo en el que se hace un recorrido de cosas del pasado y de novedades del presente con muchos términos que merecen ser conocidos por los católicos ilustrados y también por los no tan adentrados en los cambios de la Iglesia. Va a ser una forma de instruirnos sin acudir a largas exposiciones.
