Calibrations is a special presentation from Caliber Comics that offers four complete first issues from the library of Caliber. Each issue features fan favorites and possibly some undiscovered gems. Caliber is one of the more diverse publisher in independent comics and the selections in each issue are sure to be varied in subject matter and genres.Leading off this first issue is Gary Reed's Saint Germaine, a critically acclaimed series about a man who lives forever but has died a 1,000 deaths. The artist of the first few issues is Vince Locke, known for his work on Neil Gaiman's Sandman and A History of Violence, later turned into a feature film. Mike Carey, of Lucifer fame, teams up with Michael Gaydos, the co-creator of Netflix's Jessica Jones, to bring Inferno which is the tale of a man who is cast off into Hell. He has a plan of escape...if only he could remember it. In Strange Detective Mysteries, Terry Pavlet and Sam Gafford offer a story that has some of the greatest minds on the time....Arthur Conan Doyle, Harry Houdini, Nikola Tesla, H.G. Wells, and more to solve the mystery of who killed Edgar Allen Poe. The fourth story is a conspiracy laded saga that reaches into the connections between the death of Marilyn Monroe and the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Writer Gary Reed is joined by artists Laurence Campbell (Stephen King's The Dark Tower and Hellboy's B.R.P.D.), Christopher Jones (Batman Strikes, Young Justice) and Ken Meyer Jr. (Kilroy is Here and Warren Ellis' Atmospherics).
