This volume describes the excavation and field survey of sites of different periods in the Caldecotte area in south-east Milton Keynes. The sites include Roman pottery kilns, a medieval moated site, brick kilns, and a post-medieval water mill. Each feature is discussed and there are reports on the artefacts, building materials, coins, pottery, and environmental evidence.;This is the ninth report from the work of the Milton Keynes Archaeological Unit. It provides a study of the historic landscape of the Ousel Valley to complement the Unit's other work at Great Linford in the Ouse Valley and in the Shenley and Tattenhoe area.
