Publisher's Synopsis
Caillou is upset by a mother's anger toward her disobedient daughter. The mother's harshness frightens him. To help Caillou understand his feelings, Mommy explains that parents sometimes forget how little their children are. It is a common situation: an overwhelmed mother loses her temper with a defiant child. This can be difficult for the child, who feels lost because the mother no longer seems to be the parent she knows.
