Publisher's Synopsis
As more and more states are beginning the process of authorizing cannabis-based products for both recreational and medicinal purposes, sellers of these products are in a race to have them on the shelf first. Unfortunately, until very recently it has been against the law to study many of the chemicals in marijuana, and so there is minimal evidence of their efficacy and safety. The Indiana Legislature and governor this year signed into law rules that say you can sell and buy CBD products at retail businesses, but provided no guidance or requirements about labeling or marketing these products. This leaves the state of Indiana with an assortment of products available to consumers that could potentially cause harm with very little oversight. This book is intended to inform, to spark discussion about responsible legislation, and to answer some questions about the dangers of unregulated CBD oil sales in Indiana.
