Publisher's Synopsis

Frank P. Thomas Jr., Donald J. Thomas, and Robert E. Wildman, owners of the General Equipment Company, entered into the fast-food business by opening a 15cents hamburger restaurant called Burger Chef in Indianapolis in 1958.
