God has a way of taking me back to the times in my life when I was engulfed in the grips of brokenness. As I look back on the seasons of my life, I can see how God has made a way through the highest hills and lowest valleys. I can see clearly the things that I am most thankful for and the path that got me to that place. It's a bird's eye view of all the milestones and AH-HA moments that changed my perception and illuminated my path. One of the most significant similarities in each season is the life-changing moments after trekking through a valley of brokenness. I have discovered, that a thankful heart is born within a broken one.
Within every valley, broken heart, shattered dream, or uprooting storm is a God who loves you more than you can even perceive. Although it may seem that you are surrounded by never-ending darkness, you are never alone and possess a light that never goes dim. Together, we will venture through the promises God gives us in times of uncertainty and see throughout scripture how God transformed what we saw as broken and unusable into something new and beautiful.
