Publisher's Synopsis
As she stepped out of her door she was looking at her playlist to pick a song. The breeze blew her long, brown hair in her face. She was about to pop in the ear buds when a noise caught her attention. It was a hollow, echoing sound like someone hitting metal pipes together. She looked around and saw an empty flag pole with the rope blowing in the wind across the street. A metal piece on the rope was hitting the pole. Maggie stared at it for a minute and an eerie feeling came over her. Maggie's first thought was that it was such a lonely sound.
