Publisher's Synopsis
Octogenarian, former merchant seaman and naval officer, Seth Schneible has prepared a photo story about "Brigham" a "rescued" Portuguese Waterdog, that did not like to swim. Found in a shelter in Utah he traveled to Pennsylvania and began a new life. When he arrived he had no name, he had no history to report, so he was named "Brigham Young Waterdog" just Brigham for short. He was taken to obedience school but obviously he has been there before. So he would sit down after twenty minutes of drills, because he was bored. Never a swimmer, but he liked to wade and would ride in an inner tube, as long as he could see the shore. The photo story tells of his involvement in almost 14 years with a growing family. Brigham enjoyed being around the water, just as long as he was not in over his head.
Thanks to all the person that are involved, providing support, to the hundreds of animal shelters and "rescue" facilities around the country. This story of his love and devotion just had to be told. It was written to tell of a faithful friend named Brigham, for all readers, both young and old.
