Publisher's Synopsis
This is the story of a bunny living in rural India. It is a little bunny with all the attributes of a little child, such as inquisitiveness, curiosity, some defiance, and love of adventure. Little children should be able to instantly identify with him as he takes them along on exciting adventures. It should keep them on their toes not knowing what will befall the little fellow next, as he encounters and narrowly escapes predators. It has its tender moments when helpful woodland animals come to the bunny's aid. As children go through this engaging tale, they would surreptitiously gain knowledge of the flora and fauna of southern India, and imbibe some wholesome values such as being considerate and tolerant of others who are unlike themselves. The evocative illustrations will hopefully spark creativity in their young minds and stimulate them to create imagery of their own as they read the story.
