Grade 1-3. Not only are there boogies, blues, and ballads, but rounds, rondos, seasonal, and traveling songs as well. 19 original songs/arrangements in all. Lyrics and melodies are highly pictorial to help young singers learn expressive musicianship. Guitar accompaniments are provided plus easy Orff instrument orchestrations. Several songs ask for add-to lyrics to encourage student creativity. Well suited for grades 1-3 but older students will not be bored.
