Bobcats Game Book

For many years Bob and Cynthia Oswalt have directed the children's church activities of Celebration Church in Lithonia Georgia. They have lead a weekly Saturday Outreach Ministry that ministers to children in the apartments, they also lead a group of children in a regular Wednesday evening "Royal Rangers" ministry. Bob Oswalt is an ordained minister who believes that "children ought to have fun serving God." Every week "The Bobcats" as the kids know them; have new and exciting games to play. I have never seen them play the same game twice. I can tell you that this book is the result of many years of prayer, trial, and error. You will find this book very useful to you no matter if you are in a church of 5 kids or 200 kids. Because of their dedication to children and their call to the ministry, God has given "The Bobcats" the ability to create a game out of almost nothing. Most of the games you find in the following pages of this book are from simple things that most of us have around the house. During the regular Sunday morning Children's Church services the kids always look forward to the "game time." They all know that the "Bobcats" came ready to play a game or two. Their ministry is a regular part of the Sunday morning Children's Church service. In-between "offering" and "praise and worship" is where you will find their ministry. Many people find it hard to allow children to play game during church services. I believe that with the right motive and people in place you can add "game time" to your regular service. What better way to drive home a point than to play a game that teaches that principle? Use these games to help you as you preach the Word.
