Publisher's Synopsis
After a grueling outfitters season, Joe is eager for a break from the snow. Accompanied by Logan and Rene, he heads south to the Arizona desert, planning to spend several months working their gold claim under the sun. Their plans are upended when a man from Joe's past, alongside the infimous Hector, spots him and alerts Hector that the cartels have put a million-dollar bounty on Joe's head. To their horror, they realize they are in Hector's territory, plunging them into a deadly fight for survival. Amidst a fierce gunfight, Joe sustains severe injuries and is rushed to the hospital. Now, Logan, Rene, and Kay must navigate the perilous situation to protect Joe from the relentless cartel and find a way to escape with their lives.
