Kim Yideum has an international presence, having read at the Stockholm International Poetry Festival in 2014 and Biennale Internationale des Poètes en Val-de-Marne in 2015. She was a writer-in-residence at the Free University of Berlin through Arts Council Korea, and at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. She is considered one of the most exciting voices in contemporary Korean and feminist poetry, having received her PhD for a thesis on Korean Feminist Poetics. Ji Yoon Lee currently lives in Houston, Texas.
