Jack's nestmate is the head of the VSL's Southern District, and Jack's learned to despise everything about the Dracul. When Jack befriends an Ascender, a growing resentment coupled with new knowledge, has Jack questioning it all.
When Jack is given an impossible task, Jack must reconcile his past, present, and future. He must choose which code to live by. In this race against time, and the fight of his life, can Jack count on his friends as he answers the question-Is blood enough?
