Publisher's Synopsis
Dr Mark Altree is asked to review the Police file concerning the murder of the Queensland Premier, Gordon Palmer because the detectives have been unable to identify a suspect. With his problem solving talents on the line Altree begins his investigation only to be faced with the same dilemma as the Police: a lack of eyewitnesses, CCTV images and evidence. The only clues are the two bullets and casings from the murder weapon, but tracking the owner of the pistol becomes complicated. To solve the case he will need inspiration, suggestions from his friends and colleagues and a sharp eye from an expert markswoman.
