Publisher's Synopsis

This book of short stories was written for my late blind friend Coralie Arthur, who said one day, "Why doesn't anyone write stories about blind heroines who have done something special?" I used her as the role model and, to make the stories exciting, chose topics from newspaper headlines-murders, bank robberies, drug busts, house fires, drownings, home invasions, and blizzards. Coralie liked my first story, and soon I had three detective stories, four heroic stories, and one feel-good Christmas story. Now it's time for you to read and enjoy these stories. Even better, read them to a vision-impaired person.
