Elliott and Margaret Stewart were just beginning to see a sliver of light at the end of a dreadful few years. They made their way toward the light in small steps, being very reluctant to trust their future. Elliott, a meteorologist, accepted a position in Jacksonville, Florida. Margaret had no reason to stay in Tucson ... not any more ... so she agreed to the move hoping at least one of them could rejoin the living. Slowly, life became more than just a deep hole. For a few years, they had a brief reprieve from their suffering. Elliott excelled in his work far beyond what he ever dreamed he would. Margaret really had no dreams, but she regenerated her career in law in an effort to fill the hours. They made friends ... eventually joining an ever widening circle of people.
