An old man sits in his room, not moving, not speaking, just sitting... just watching. A son has moved his family away from their home and friends, to a new town filled with hostile faces. A fifteen year old boy is surrounded by strangers in a new school... and a cruel, bleak nothingness is beginning to take hold of him.
