Publisher's Synopsis
Bitsy and Simon Levine volunteered to foster dogs for domestic abuse survivors who have sought help at the shelter, which is not equipped for pets. When a request to foster a cat comes in, Annie Cooper, their elderly neighbor offers her assistance. The pets violate the no pet clause in their leases and they are all evicted. Annie announces she has a farm in upstate New York and they all move in together. When Simon's client is shot and killed in front of him, they take in her three children. Join the Levines as they continue their chaotic lives in their new home.
