This novel is a story part fiction and non fiction about a young black male born and brought up in a small country town in the south of Wales called Port Talbot, his parents who came from the West Indies in the late 1950, s have pasted on and the family home is left to Birdy and his brothers and sisters. Birdy has moved back to his family town to his parents home after spending over a decade in London city, he meets back up with some of his old time friends while his new London friends come down to Wales finding themselves involved with some of the Welsh girls and troubles with the Welsh guys etc. While Birdy younger brother Mark is up and down the town terrorizing it with his youthful crimes.this story is based around Port Talbot with the neighbouring towns and cities of Wales venturing into Bristol city and London city where places with people are made mentioned of, this book starts around the times of 1999 and moves along, there is another book which is to be continued up through and beyond the year 2000, ND right up to these present times.
