Bill Anderson had become someone she could rely on, even in those times when her losses resurfaced and threatened to overtake her. His continued friendship and consistent encourage-ment allowed her to love again. After an un-expected proposal, wedding bells ring for these two. Abner and Sally Smith patiently await the arrival of their new baby. As the time draws near, Sally finds herself extremely tired. A potential complication arises which lands her in the hospital. Abner worries briefly about who will take care of the grocery while he is at the hospital supporting her. The holidays for the families in this community was emotional as some were just recovering from trials that life had thrown them. Despite the difficulties that they had gone through and their faith tested, they always found their way back to God.
