Life was peaceful in the small North Devon village of Bilbury - until a report in the Sunday Planet colour magazine stated that Bilbury water cured arthritis. Then it was mayhem, with cars and coaches full of tourists pouring in. The doctor and his wife, Patsy, who lived at Bilbury Grange, found people walking all over their garden, some even complaining that they didn't have a toilet for the disabled! When a newcomer to the village wanted to take down the trees on the village green and build a hotel, the villagers knew they had a fight on their hands...
