Bilbao Beetle Learns to Share is a heartwarming children's adventure book. It begins with an argument between Bilbao and his sister, Betty, over not wanting to share ANYTHING. In a fury, Bilbao storms away from his home and all he knows. Getting frighteningly lost, he makes a friend in Axel Ant, but then the two become trapped in a jar by human kids for a science project. Dejection, depression, hunger and remorse overwhelm the two new friends, but Bilbao learns the true value of sharing when Axel splits the last, soggy seed with him. Arguments between the two human siblings who have trapped them provide the route home for Bilbao. Family arguments, getting lost, getting found and getting saved provides more than one of life's most important lessons.
