Biblical grays are topics in the bible that most wouldn't consider being something that is "black and white" when it comes to interpretation. Much like gray areas, biblical grays tend to require more thought and study in order to produce a comfortable interpretation that would be hard to disprove. A "black and white" topic in scripture is written in plain, understandable text, and means exactly what it says. Being taught something that is erroneous over and over again may sometimes begin to make sense, to the point that it becomes doctrine.
