As Gary took his historical artefacts; Bibles, uniforms, dresses, toys, comics and, yes, bloomers into care homes, the residents began to share their own remarkable stories, all of which Gary faithfully recorded. Bibles, Bugles and Bloomers is the result, a unique collection of memories that provides an insight to historical events from those who witnessed them first hand, including a woman who 'met Hitler' at the Berlin Olympics, another who danced with Glen Miller, and a man who remembered scoring a goal for West Ham, plus many more.
