It's summertime and Summer Kennedy is bored. Interminably long hours spent toiling at the county law office has lead her to develop a rich inner fantasy life to entertain herself. She tells herself she'll stop dwelling on her increasingly erotic daydreams as soon as she has a job that is more intellectually engaging. When she gets a promotion, though, she realises that her summertime of dreaming has opened the doorway to a lot of fantasies that cannot be so easily repressed. With mounting nerves, Summer starts to come to terms with the fact that she is bisexual.
