Publisher's Synopsis
My autobiography is like a diary; it describes my battle against tinnitus, against the noise in my head, the very idea of being seriously ill which made me think I was crazy. This is my fight against my misunderstanding of my surroundings, my family and myself, and about the deep valley where I had to go as well as my long journey to a decent life. Tinnitus has its own place in this world and one can still deal with it. I once again became a man, although there were struggles and restrictions. I realized I could have a social life again. This book serves as an inspiration and a form of support to all those who are suffering from the condition. Joost Treebusch was born in 1946 in The Hague.
