Here is a book for those who want to discover the Hidden America. It will act as a travel guide for those interested in roadside journeys across America who also want to discover what exists beyond 'the interstate'. A unique type of travel guide, it combines observations with general descriptions of events and places across America from people who have travelled there themselves.;This book will be organized into 10 regions of the country. Each region will be divided into seasons of the year and each season will have a theme with a 3-page feature article along with four or five related festivals and events occuring during that time of the year in that area of the country. There is then a complete listing of places to stay, places to eat, how to get there, as well as other things to see along the way. The appendixes will include cross-references of events by month, description, and region, readings on America and B & B referral services.
