Publisher's Synopsis
Stanton Laird is sent from a small town in Oregon to drill for oil in Western Australia. He finds that a million-acre sheep station is almost beyond his comprehension, but he meets and falls in love with Mollie. When they return to America, the small town has become very small indeed.
