In this book, a new revised and expanded edition by the author, you'll find twelve award-winning stories of fantastic literature, selected for their unique tone, perspective, and storytelling style. These tales are marked by a certain melancholia, a dash of despair, a strong sense of resilience in the face of hardship, and a notable lack of happy endings. If you're a fan of Gabriel García Márquez's or Raymond Carver literary magic and Woody Allen's witty humor, this collection is for you. With a narrative that blends magical realism and urban life, these stories invite you to explore the extraordinary within the ordinary, where common characters face situations that are as absurd as they are deeply revealing. **From the author: **
I love stories, both as a reader and a writer. Writing is like unraveling a ball of yarn. It's about painting signs on a blank canvas, perhaps virtual, made of rough pixelated paper. Giving color and shape with a single stroke. Engaging with the muses and making sense of the backbone that sustains us, the marrow, the synodal fluid. The blind production of serotonin and endorphins. The excess of coffee at night. The lack of good cable programming. In short, something. But no, all I'm granted is the slow, arduous task of pulling words that float submerged in depths, heavy and rusty from disuse, and rudimentarily starting to drag them up, arrange them one by one, right side up and upside down. See what they can say. Listen to them. In summary, a job very similar to building walls with ink and bricks. A house to be read for a while and then abandoned, left heavy with emptiness until a new tenant, reader or squatter, comes along and renews it with coffee stains and a bus ticket sleeping between its pages.

**ANA MARÍA SHUA: **
"I met Gustavo Fogel in the best possible way: by reading his stories as a contest judge. I enjoyed them, I laughed, I suffered, and I rejoiced with his characters. This man knows what literature is about and is willing to share that aesthetic and vital emotion with his readers. He is, simply, a writer: that is his title of Nobility."
Ana María Shua, author of: Death as a Side Effect, The War, Against Time, Letter Hunters, The Dreamer, The Patient, Laura's Loves, etc. **HORACIO CONVERTINI: **
"FOGEL CREATES AND DESTROYS SUBTLE AND BRUTAL UNIVERSES AT THE SAME TIME, WHERE ABANDONMENT AND DEATH ARE NARRATED WITH SMOOTH LYRICAL PROSE."
Horacio Convertini, author of The Precision of Pain, The Last Miracle, Another Universe to be Happy, The Solitude of Evil, New Pompey, etc. **So, what are you waiting for? Go up and click the READ NOW or BUY NOW button.**
