A young girls sense of security was shattered after being molested by multiple family members, whom she believed she could trust. By the time the early 1980s came around, Lynn recalls spending her childhood watching her mother's downward spiral due to her cocaine addiction that took over her life. Unable to find solace or comfort. Lynn rebelled.
From learning how to steal food from the grocery store to the constant abuse, homelessness and teasing about her tattered appearance, Lynn felt torture and was unable to escape. Feeling unloved, unimportant and abandoned, Lynn found faith in God. This helped her find the strength to fight through the pain and overcome many obstacles. Lynn found herself fighting some of the demons that lead her mother to the life she experienced growing up. Against all odds, Lynn made the decision to turn her life around. It wasn't until she found Christ, that she was able to overcome the madness that was her life that almost killed her.
