Publisher's Synopsis
The young knight Reynald Veldoran visits Ardenthal Castle, where incredible things happen. At first he does not believe in magic and ghosts, but then he himself becomes a victim of sorcery when he offers his services to the powerful wizard Lord Velmor and is transformed into a young woman.
From then on he calls himself Annie and has to gradually get used to a completely new life. He gets support from the ghosts of the past who haunt the castle, the young witch Merris and the blacksmith Jonathan. Little by little she discovers a dark secret and gets caught in the crossfire of a relentless power struggle.
