Publisher's Synopsis

Between Justice and Time is a crime/sci-fi saga.

Rick, a US secret service agent, is sent on a mission to Spain, but ends up in Casablanca after Franco's overthrow of Spain's democratic Second Republic after a military coup.

He travels immediately to Paris and from there on to Morocco. In Casablanca he opens a night club called Restaurant, this being the perfect front as he goes about gathering information on the advances of Nazi forces. Shortly before the bombing of Casablanca as part of Operation Torch, Rick escapes to the city of Tarifa, Spain.

There, in the heart of Andalusia, Baviera, a police officer whose life he had previously saved, finds out that Rick is in the city. The captain asks for his help in solving a series of strange crimes.

Dragged into the solving of the case, Rick discovers that there are Nazis in the area who, having fled Germany after Hitler's downfall, are still going around murdering people.

Convinced by the rightness of his hypothesis, he decides to hunt every last one of them down and bring them to justice

Story inspired by the life of Victor Villanueva Jr. - Award-winning Bootstraps: From an American Academic of Color, Rhetorics of the Americas.
