Publisher's Synopsis
The Hominy Creek Valley was nestled in the Osage Hills of southeast Osage County, Oklahoma. The Osage and other tribes hunted and survive on this land. The Osage made it their reservation. As the Osage owners passed down or sold, a rural community developed and prospered. However, "the government giveth and it taketh", this valley is now beneath Skiatook Lake and owned by the US Army Corp of Engineers. This book is in memory of the people who lived beneath this lake.
