Publisher's Synopsis
As the Pratt family goes about their normal routine, they have no idea that their whole world is about to be shattered as a strange little man enters the family's comic book store. In his hands is a very old comic book with a tattered cover and an ancient lock that he is unable to open. Is the Pratt's eldest daughter Jennifer the key to the secrets that the book holds?
"As the adults were having a jovial conversation, a very strange-looking little gentleman entered the store. He was wearing a long brown overcoat that was way too long for him and it was dragging on the floor. He had a funny mustache and big, round glasses that he could barely see through. He was carrying a tattered old brown paper bag that looked quite heavy. Uncle Lou approached the funny man and asked if he needed help. The little man cleared his throat and said with a squeaky voice "I have an old comic book that has been passed down in my family for many generations. It was in a box of old books that were owned by my grandmother. I found it in her attic. Poor dear just recently passed away. The little man sighed. "I was wondering how much you think it might be worth," replied the little man. "Well, let's have a look and see," said Uncle Lou as the little man handed him the comic book. Jennifer ran over and stood beside Uncle Lou when he shouted "Wow! I have never seen anything like this! This is extraordinary!" "Hee, Hee, Hee," laughed the little man. "I thought it might be something special."
