The book supersedes "in" discussions by whites on Aboriginal affairs, by presenting the "real" story: the truth as felt through generations by a race of people who have been displaced and dispossessed in their own land. Race memories are expressed in poetry, speeches, reports and prose, as various Aborigines detail the fight for land rights and justice.
