Publisher's Synopsis
What is there left to say? Life brings pain. Sometimes that pain is so deep, so constricting we feel like we're being chocked from the inside out. And we are. My name is Sarah. Like you, the world tried to break me. The world killed me. Sarah is an adolescent, living the average life of a child stuck in the middle of a divorce. She hasn't seen her father since she was a little girl, and life is hitting her hard as she struggles through the realm of the "teenage world." At the age of nine, she began her career of carving hate into her arms to cover up the pain the world sent her way. After all, it's better to cover up the hurt than to let everyone watch you drowning in it. Eventually Sarah must decide, will she drown herself in her own blood, or will she drown herself in the love of someone so much bigger than her circumstances?
