The book attempts to illustrate how these elements interacted and influenced some of the events of the sixties. The music we listened to during our youth become a part of our identity. Just as visually Westerns became a form of mythical history that influenced male culture during the 1950's and was revived during the sixties. This book shows the connections between many of these elements that contributed to the evolution of the Counter Culture.
