Baukunst's many interdisciplinary collaborations since its foundation illustrate a dialogical approach to the project development process that places architecture at the crossroads of art and science.As it bears witness to the importance of this position, the Performance & Performativity exhibition is designed to present the many supporting links and collaborations of a production that is resolutely open to contemporary practices and challenges.Moving models, photographs, videos and various installations illustrate the production of BAUKUNST and immerse us in its singular world of artistic, philosophical and technical references.Baukunst was founded by Adrien Verschuere in 2008 in Brussels, Belgium. Conjunction of sciences and arts, the office engages the architectural medium as a dialogic tool gathering different forms of knowledge.Baukunst operates and creates environments through the construction of performative objects, staging real and mnemonic, living and non-living agents.Published on the occasion of the exhibition, BAUKUNST: Performance & Performativity at BOZAR - Centre for Fine Arts, Brussels (25 September 2019 - 5 January 2020).
