Basic Teachings of the Bible is a series of books that cover the Questions Christians ask, with biblical answers, Why Study the Bible? Where Did God Come From? Is Speaking in Tongues Evidence of True Christianity? Do We Have a Soul that Is Apart From Us? Does Abortion Show Respect for Life? Do We Possess a Soul or Are We a Soul? Does the Bible Teach Universal Salvation? What Is Inerrancy of Scripture? Does the Bible Teach Liberation Theology? Does It Matter Which Bible Translation? Was Job a Real Historical Person? These are the type of basic Bible questions that are discussed and debated, before and after church services, at Christian gatherings, and on the internet. There are literally hundreds of them. These are questions that Bible critics might raise as well, which Christians have struggled to answer and now will have a simplified biblical response. The Bible will give us the answers to these questions, as well as reasoning and explaining from the Scriptures. If the texts are straightforward, which answer the question(s), the text alone will be used. However, if the text is difficult to understand, reasoning from the Scriptures will be used with the text. We will answer some of the questions in just 2-3 pages, while some may take up to 15 pages or more. It is hoped that the reader will find the answers as additional evidence demonstrating that the Bible is the best source for guiding one's life.
