The book follows orthodox Christian theological categories, seeking to apply teachings in a conservative and evangelical manner. The author is a retired Seminary vice-president and theology professor with over half a century of professional Christian ministry experience. He has written a number of theological books on contemporary theology, sin, the church, and salvation. He comes to his work from an evangelical and Baptist perspective.
