Eight-part drama series written by Russell T. Davies about modern gay life in Manchester. A spin-off of the series 'Cucumber', the programme follows the interlinked stories of various different characters including 19-year-old post boy Dean (Fisayo Akinade) who pursues a longtime crush that has recently arrived in town; Vivienne 'Scotty' Scott (Letitia Wright) who cares for her ill mother (Jacqueline Boatswain) and begins stalking a housewife (Rosie Cavaliero) she meets in the supermarket; young couple Sian (Georgia Henshaw) and Violet (Hannah John-Kamen); transgender Helen (Bethany Black) whose ex Eddie (Andrew Knott) won't accept she's moved on; struggling dater Amy (Charlie Covell) and law student Josh (Luke Newberry) who is madly in love with Dean's flatmate Freddie (Freddie Fox).
