Publisher's Synopsis
Since the success of Jaws, the masterpiece produced in 1975 by Steven Spielberg, the man-eating shark has established itself as an essential bogeyman of fantasy and horror cinema. The famous shark, however, began its exploits on the big screen as early as the 1930s, culminating in the haphazard delirium of the 1970s and 1980s. For more than twenty years, the shark has been intruding on the edges of the trash film, undergoing the most improbable genetic modifications, from Dinoshark to Sharktopus, not to mention Zombie Shark or Sharkenstein.
