This initial anthology celebrates the diversity that lies in and within the shared experiences of writers hailing from the Bronx and our sister boroughs. This collection of poems honors the authenticity of our jungle streets, the rawness of our bare existence, and our ability to grapple with ourselves through the art of poetry writing as reflection. We write from the fire, flames, and fumes we inherited from the Bronx, that instead of destroying us, built and raised us. This is BX Writers.
