But I was recommended by my brother to read this collection of short stories. He stated that this will change my perception over horror stories. So, I started reading B.E.K. with a bit of 'fear' in my heart, because I was not quite sure that I will enjoy this reading. After finishing the first story (The Boy at the Door), I wasn't even aware that this book has managed to keep me so hooked. The second story was even more amazing. I ended by reading the whole book without taking any break. I noticed one common thing in all these stories: the intrigue is so well crafted, that will raise the interest of the reader to an unusual point. The fact that the action of these stories is fast paced adds even more reading pleasure. I don't know how I've never come across the subject before, since I am a huge fan of all things both supernatural and alien related but, I know I will be further investigating this subject! The first book I read by Lyn Murray was Blooded: Anunnaki Rising which was one of the best books I have read thus far and one of the longest! I found myself with an afternoon on my hands and decided to check in to see if she had released anything new and Found The BEK - The boy at the Door eBook and it spiked my interest so I decided to see what this was all about! I found it to be not only creepy, but quite interesting as well. She includes Four Short Stories which are based on real events and this alone sends chills down my spine. The encounters are chilling and well documented, but they will have you intrigued long after you read the book. I believe she did a fantastic job with this one, I couldn't put it down. I will say that I won't be going to any ATM's late at night anytime soon...And I will be a little more leery about opening my door as well. I think it was more than worth the .99 price tag and I am really glad I bought it. It just fuels my curiosity even more to do my own research on the subject!
