BACKSTORIES BOOK OF GENESIS
THEN CAME THE TOWER OF BABEL, MAKING A MESS OF THINGS!!JEWISH PEOPLES DIDN'T CARE! Backstories, 'an experience of an individual character (s), thereby Scripture- Bible of certain circumstances which occur before the, or after certain personal actions, literary, drama, given conditions leading to real-life situations.
Keep in mind, our bible characters did NOT HAVE a script to follow, as they lived-out their lives. They prayed, believed, waiting for the right answer from our FATHER.
Aside from this, I'm sure y'all have asked as well, 'what else happen?"
As such is, the following folks.
Surely 'I've ask myself, "there had to have been much more dialogue amongst themselves? With their wives, children, friends, enemies wanting to kill them, their community and more.""
MY GRANDMOTHER
IN my youth, influenced by my beautiful grandmother who read bible stories from Genesis. I often wondered if there was more than just the way it reads? So, I'd ask her questions about THE WHAT else did they do? What they talked about amongst them, other than what I was learning from her. Grandmothers answer was, "I can't tell you that, but when I was a little girl I would ask my mother the same." Well personally their had to be more, right?
Then after many seasons growing older, I finally got around doing the MORE of each characters life, sense of humor as well. OUR FATHER has a sense of humor, just look at the Platypus!
Yosef's betrayal by his brothers sold to slave traders, his journey to Egypt becoming Governor. Rachel's empty womb, Lavan's deception, his son's wanting to kill him, then Le′ah marrying Ya′akov before Rachel.
These humans had feelings, cried, hated others and on!
"Surely the unsatisfied jealous wife Rachel, found it difficult to see her sister Le′ah, and her maidservant-slave girl having more children every season of her youthful life.
Not only but, Ya′akov feeling like the lone STALLION in his own barn! Or maybe even a frightened Rooster on his own fence line, hiding from them chickens! Avraham, forced to send his son Yishma'el away because his wife's were making his life difficult. Then comes the empty scorned womb again!!!
So, Rachel needed a quick fix, and what was that fix?
Rachel demanding of her husband Ya'akov to sleep with her maidservant to have children for her?
"Never know a scorned woman's thoughts right?"
Yet, all this drama served a purpose known only to our Creator, Father, Savior. Amyn.
As this drama in Scripture going on in my head, while experiencing my personal issues. As such, my personal view-point-opinion of the how, and what our ancient patriarch's dealt with while on eretz, or earth. Keep in mind, it took many years to come to this point along with prayer, faith. God bless, Amyn.
