Publisher's Synopsis
Second edition of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" translated into Cornish by Nicholas Williams. "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland", a jewel of children's literature, was first published in 1865. In that same year translations into numerous languages appeared. This book is written in the Celtic language Cornish, in the orthography called Kernowek Standard, or Standard Cornish a spelling very close to the spelling called the Standard Written Form (Traditional Graphs), albeit with emendations of some small errors in the latter. Further the present orthography employs diacritics to indicate phonetic differences in words spelt the same way, or to distinguish the pronunciation of vowels which can have more than one pronunciation.
