International assignments were in Germany, Italy, Philippines, Japan and the United Kingdom. Stateside assignments included Kelly AFB, Texas, Ft Meade, Maryland and Buckley AFB, Colorado. While serving in all of his overseas assignments, Charles traveled extensively on his own to see other countries.
