Publisher's Synopsis

The world is changing. Never before in history have so many people experienced so much change in such a short space of time. China has emerged as a global power. In the west, people are losing faith in democracy. A global pandemic has exacerbated the deterioration of the economies of many democratic nations, along with their systems of government, justice, health, education and welfare structures.

The prosperity of the USA, the beacon of western democracy and capitalism, has been based on debt for the last fifty years.

The gap between rich and poor has reached absurd levels in many democratic nations. Environmentalists have moved from concern to panic as more people are subject to extreme weather conditions. Governments have allowed corporations to rape and pillage the planet in the name of greed and profit.

China will soon become the world's largest economy to rival the United States, which has recently been subject to an attempted coup by a cheap and farcical would be fascist. There is a new ideological cold war, where communist regimes are challenging our democratic freedoms and global institutions.

Where does this leave Australia? If we are to be the greatest country in the world, Australia must also change. This change must be drastic. We must stand on our own two feet. A revolution is required. Revolutions always seem unlikely until they are upon us.
